CreatorLink is operated by CreatorLink Pty Ltd. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use CreatorLink:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and password when you register
• Profile information: For creators — your handle, bio, niche, platform, location, partnership preferences, and profile photo. For brands — your company name, industry, and website
• Usage data: Pages visited, profile views, messages sent, and campaign interactions
• Payment information: Billing details processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers
• Communications: Messages you send to other users through the platform

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the CreatorLink platform
• Display your creator profile to subscribed brand accounts
• Facilitate messaging between creators and brands
• Process subscription payments and manage billing
• Send transactional emails (e.g. new message notifications, password resets)
• Provide aggregate analytics to creators about profile performance
• Detect and prevent fraud and abuse

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:

• With subscribed brands: Creator profiles (as entered by you) are visible to brands with an active subscription
• Service providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments), and Resend (transactional email). Each operates under their own privacy policy
• Legal requirements: Where required by law or to protect our legal rights

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss. However, no system is completely secure — please use a strong, unique password for your account.

6. Creator Profile Visibility

When you publish your creator profile, it becomes visible to brands who hold an active subscription. Your email address is never displayed publicly. You can unpublish or delete your profile at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser settings can be used to control or disable cookies, though this may affect platform functionality.

8. Your Rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of non-essential communications

9. Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for legal and business purposes. Payment records are retained as required by Australian tax law.
